Trader Joe's Files Paperwork For Colorado Stores

Trader Joe's has filed paperwork with state officials to come to Colorado for the first time.

The California-based grocery and specialty-foods company filed paperwork with the Colorado Secretary of State’s office Monday saying it intends to start doing business in the state April 1.

Sources tell the Denver Business Journal that Trader Joe’s has inked three contracts to lease locations in metro Denver. It isn’t clear where the locations will be.
