It was like a scene from a meticulously crafted commercial — a light snow gently falling upon the rolling Appalachian hills where Snowville Creamery is based.
Situated down a winding country road on the dairy farm of Bill Dix and Stacy Hall, the Meigs County location provides a peaceful, unspoiled backdrop for the creamery's dairy production.
With Snowville in its fourth year of operation, construction of the creamery began in 2006, and by 2007 cartons illustrated with the distinctive Snowville milkmaid reached the shelves of local stores, both big and small.
Successfully producing quality milk and cream products, the company is now in the process of offering yogurt to its customers.
