LOS ALAMITOS, CA – In celebration of their 50th anniversary, Frieda’s has redesigned their box graphics to showcase the specialty produce category and make it easier to locate Frieda’s product in warehouses.
Frieda’s in-house Creative Director, Marliese Ward, teamed up with Warehouse Manager Pepe Gonzalez, to create a design that reflects the unique and exotic produce items that Frieda’s sells, while making it convenient for warehouse and store personnel to locate orders and product. With the company’s signature purple and green colors and a wrap-around design, the 5, 10, and 20 pound boxes and Master Pak™ cases are easy to spot in a pallet or in a cooler.
The new boxes are eco-friendly and manufactured from recycled materials under Sustainable Forestry Initiative practices. The boxes also feature a food-grade Michelman adhesive coating to increase the strength and eliminate crushing when on the pallet.
The largest new box design, the 50 pound Master Pak™, is an essential element in Frieda’s Store Service Program. The Master Pak™ Store Service Program helps produce managers select the right mix of products on their weekly orders to better meet the needs of their shoppers. Orders are packed weekly in the special Master Pak™ box and labeled with the store location for convenience and easier deliveries by the retailers warehouse.
