CHICAGO – With milk supplied by Northwest Indiana's Fair Oaks Farms, Steve Jones believes he could be creating the next billion-dollar beverage brand.
Jones knows his beverages. While serving as president of Minute Maid in 2000, Jones revitalized the orange juice industry. And as Coke-Cola's chief marketing officer, he was the advertising wizard who authorized Coke to become a major sponsor of the new British import, "American Idol."
Now Jones, CEO of Select Milk Producers designer division, wants to bring the designer milks the company is creating to the national market.
"It's a health and wellness company that sells great tasting, effective nutrition," Jones said. "It's bringing new innovation and technology to a dairy industry that needs it."
