For Tinie Eilers, yogurt had always been part of a good breakfast.
When she arrived in Canada from Holland in 1994 with her husband, dairyman Hennie Bos, it was to become both her passion and her profession.

Eilers began making her own yogurt in 1996, because her diabetic teenage daughter needed a nutritious, sugar-free breakfast. Friends who tried it were so enthusiastic that she realized there was a demand here for a “different” yogurt.
Eilers test-marketed her fresh yogurt at farmers’ markets in Ponoka, Lacombe and Red Deer.
