Rudy DiPietro has been named vice president of retail operations for the western division of Hannaford Supermarkets, and will be based in Schodack, New York.
DiPietro oversees 47 stores in New York and 17 in Vermont, including sales, marketing and budgets.
DiPietro previously served as director of fresh merchandising at Hannaford.
