NY Apple Industry Leaders & McDonald's Franchise Owners Celebrate Reconfigured Happy Meals

New York apple industry leaders and McDonald's franchise owners celebrate the launch of newly configured Happy Meals, which will now automatically include fresh apple slices. The kick-off event was held at a McDonald's in Guilderland, N.Y. on Friday, Oct. 28. Slices from New York apple varieties like Empires and Gala will make up a significant portion of the McDonald's supply chain. Last year, McDonald's sold more than 220 million Happy Meals in the U.S.
