A Driscoll area lamb business has been purchased by a Grand Forks business and fellow Pride of Dakota members.
Catherine's for Lamb owner Kate Pfennig auctioned her business earlier this month because she is moving back to her native New Zealand.
"We want to continue basically following her business plan," said Brian Dorff, co-owner of Billie's Soap and Spa Products, who would like to expand Pfennig's line of products to stores in eastern North Dakota.
"We're talking to some of the grocery store chains similar to what she did in Bismarck and Dickinson," he said. "Currently, there's no one who carries the Catherine's for Lamb label in the Grand Forks and Fargo area."
