Since the late 1890s, Park Cheese Inc. has been producing award-winning Italian cheese in the Fond du Lac area.
In that 120 years, four different families have owned the business that produces and sells fine Italian cheeses like provolone, parmesan, asiago, romano, pepato and fontina — mainly to the Italian restaurant, supermarket, deli and pizzeria market.
Since 1975, the Liebetrau family has owned and operated the company that employs nearly 70 area residents. Eric Liebetrau leads the operation.
Park Cheese is a complex spread out in four locations — three in Fond du Lac and one near Brownsville.
