ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Dee Munson has joined the AugustineIdeas team and will help the firm continue its success in produce marketing. She will become a key part of AugustineIdeas’ growth in the produce, retail and foodservice industries and will be instrumental in new business development.
Munson has worked with branded produce companies and boards for more than five decades, bringing strategic planning, research analysis, program creation and award-winning execution to brands and commodity boards nationwide. Munson will continue to work from her Vashon Island, Wash, office.

Before moving to the Northwest, Munson was vice president of marketing for the American Egg Board. She also headed the Food Center at Cole & Weber Advertising in Seattle and was president of the Evans Food Group,, where she guided programs for more than a dozen produce commodity boards. For the past 10 years she has headed her own agency, The Food Professionals, and worked with a variety of produce clients.

Munson is a food and nutrition graduate of Purdue University, where she was named outstanding woman graduate. Over the years, she has led and been recognized by several professional organizations including the International Association of Culinary Professionals and Home Economists in Business.
