LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. — Anthony Totta, founder and chief executive officer of Grow My Profits LLC, today announced that Aryn Whitehead has been named director of public relations for the produce consultancy. Whitehead will handle public relations for Grow My Profits and provide services for the company’s clients.
“Grow My Profits provides a comprehensive approach to maximizing grower profitability that looks at everything from the seed varieties that a grower uses, to its shipping methods, to its marketing plan. Public relations often becomes a natural extension of everything else that we’re doing to get a business on the right path,” said Totta.
“I have worked with Aryn on various projects over a number of years, and I look forward to continuing to work with her to help our clients enhance communication and increase visibility with potential customers and within the industry,” Totta continued.
Whitehead has been working in public relations since 2003 and has four years’ experience working with clients in the produce industry. In addition to her work with growers, she has represented clients in travel and tourism, transportation and logistics, hospitality, manufacturing, aviation, fashion, telecommunications, pet products, nutraceuticals, and education. She has also represented grassroots and charitable organizations. Prior to launching her own public relations consultancy in 2007, she held positions with Nation Ranch Marketing of Kansas City, Mo. and PR21 of London, England.
Whitehead holds a Master of Science in Public Relations from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Spanish from Southwest Baptist University.
