Learn how to work with fondant from master sugar artist Julie Bashore; at the UMBA/Dawn Foods Fondant Workshop. To be held at Cold Spring Bakery on Sunday, October 9, 2011.
The workshop will focus on cakes that can be made from fondant for each season of the year. Each participant will learn the techniques and finish 5 different cakes to take home. Participants will also learn how to use the Somerset Fondant sheeter to roll out their fondant.
The workshop runs from: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday, October 9th. Cold Spring Bakery, 308 Main Street, Cold Spring, MN.
Registration is $200.00. This fee covers the workshop, lunch and all materials. Cakes are being provided by Dawn Foods and fondant is provided by Satin Fine Foods. Registration is limited so be sure to register early to save your spot. Registration cut off date is September 20th.
