LANSING — Michigan maintained its third place national ranking in value of wholesale sales of floriculture products in 2010, behind California and Florida, according to the June report of the United States Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service.
Reports from Michigan's 625 commercial growers with $10,000 or more in gross sales showed an estimated wholesale value of $402.7 million for all surveyed floriculture crops, up 2 percent from last year’s figure, the report said.
