The annual greenhouse vegetable awards were held during the Leamington Fair this weekend and Pure Hothouse Foods Inc. came away successful with four of the awards. For the second year in a row, Pure Hothouse Foods Inc. won both Best Specialty Pepper and Best Overall Pepper with their sweet long red pepper. They also captured Best Orange Pepper and Best Green Pepper in the Perfect Pepper category.

Hosted by REACH International, this was the 4th year for the annual competition. The panel of expert judges represented produce retailers, agricultural research centers, local chefs, and food writers.
