Sandridge Introduces Fresh & Delicious, Better-For-You Products

MEDINA, Ohio — Continually delivering solutions to meet the consumer demand for lighter and healthier food, Sandridge is pleased to introduce its new line-up of better-for-you options available for retail and foodservice. The new selection, branded Fresh & Delicious, features six lightly dressed and healthier salads made with fresh ingredients like crisp vegetables, sea salt, fiber-rich beans, real sugar, and olive and canola oil. The Fresh & Delicious line has 0 grams of trans fat and also can be touted as preservative free or no preservatives added. Many of the products in the line-up are also dairy free, gluten free and vegan.

The Fresh & Delicious brand includes the following: Chili Lime Corn Salad, Four Bean and Barley Salad, Mediterranean Couscous, Curried Chickpea & Israeli Couscous Salad, Ginger & Fruit Barley Salad and Pacific Coast Slaw. All the new salads are preserved naturally with Sandridge's latest High Pressure Processing technology — an innovative process that uses cold water under extremely high pressure to infuse flavors and maintain freshness without preservatives.

Sandridge showcased these new items at the 2011 National Restaurant Association show, May 21 – 24, 2011, in Chicago; and will feature them at the International Dairy, Deli, Bakery Association, June 5 – 7, 2011, at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, booth 2101.
