Once again businessman Henry Nemenz is to be saluted for his decision to open yet another enterprise in the community.
The owner of Save-A-Lot in Wellsville, Nemenz plans on turning the former MacDonald Elementary building in the village into the Ohio River Bread Company.
His intentions were made public late last year, and a zoning request change for the closed schoolhouse was approved Tuesday by village council.
Some financing remains needed, and Nemenz also will seek out funding at the state and federal levels, but the first step to get the ball rolling was the zoning change.
