Registration is now open for our 2010 Dietary Guidelines webinar on March 7 at 12:30 p.m. CT! Click here to register—it’s free! The USDA’s Dietary Guidelines for Americans are the cornerstone of federal nutrition policy in the United States and the 2010 revised version gives health and nutrition professionals the opportunity to reflect on the new recommendations and how they fit into their personal and professional lives. National Dairy Council will use this webinar to provide health and nutrition professionals with a better understanding of the new Guidelines as well as provide them with useful tips on how they can implement the recommendations with their patients and clients.
I’ll be hosting the webinar on behalf of National Dairy Council and it will also feature my fellow bloggers Jean Ragalie, RD and Greg Miller, PhD, MACN. Guest blogger Keith-Thomas Ayoob, EdD, RD, FADA, associate clinical professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, will also join us as a presenter. The webinar will cover the major changes from the 2005 Dietary Guidelines and how the dairy industry is responding to help Americans achieve the new Guidelines through product innovation and nutrition education programs. We’ll also share tips on how health and nutrition professionals can implement the new Guidelines into their work with clients and patients.
The webinar is worth 1.5 CPE credits from the American Dietetic Association.
