EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Davisco Foods International, Inc., a family-owned, international cheese and food ingredient company headquartered in Le Sueur, MN, announced the promotion of Emily Lauzon to Director of International Logistics. She will be responsible for international warehousing, distribution and export operations for Davisco's food ingredient division.
"Emily has been a key part of our success in transporting product internationally, and we are thrilled to promote her to this important position," said Polly Olson, VP of Business Development, Sales and Marketing. Emily was hired by Davisco in 2005 and has built Davisco's international logistics department into an efficient worldwide distribution network. International logistics play an integral role in the worldwide sale and distribution of Davisco's food ingredients, and having that department run smoothly is vital to the success of their company. Emily has traveled extensively to ensure that Davisco's shipping and warehouse facilities meet the company's high standards for storage and disbursement of product. Last year, she was able to solidify excellent storage space in China to meet the ever-increasing demand for imports in China. Emily's foreign experiences have given her an international perspective and an excellent understanding of cultural differences.
Emily received degrees in International Business, Marketing and Supply Chain Management from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Emily also studied at L'Ecole Superieure de Commerce in Bordeaux, France and speaks French fluently. She is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and a board member for the Agriculture Transportation Coalition.
