Los Angeles, CA – Vince Maggio joined the Coast Produce Company team as Vice President of Sales and Procurement on October 1, 2010.
At Coast Produce Company, Maggio will be instrumental in providing strategic direction to the Sales and Procurement teams that will maximize sales and gross profit. He will also streamline and improve buying practices that will reduce excess inventory, minimize product loss and put more dollars to the bottom line. He will also create a grower direct purchasing program that will improve product quality and increase margin dollars.

He also has incorporated his corporate business management fundamentals that he learned through his many years at Albertsons and his entrepreneurial skills developed in owning his own business to fit perfectly into Coast Produce’s company culture.”
He brings 32 years of experience as an accomplished procurement and category manager. It was through his own business that helped shaped his career in the produce industry and led him to eventually holding the position of Procurement Manager of Northern California Division for Albertsons and Director of Purchasing for Los Angeles and San Francisco Specialty Company developing him a reputation for delivering results and ability to manage multiple variables.
While he is not dedicated to Coast Produce Company initiatives, he enjoys woodworking and auto restoration.
