Preventing ‘Bouquet Heartache’ On Valentine’s Day

DENVER – A bouquet for your sweetheart may be one of the best ways to make their heart melt, but even the best intentions can be ruined if you don't take your time to pick out a good florist.

According to the consumer website Angie's List (www.angieslist.com), the florist category came in at No. 10 on the most complained list of consumer reviews. Most complaints stemmed from poor quality flowers and mishaps in delivery service.

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, consumers should plan ahead on their order to ensure that their honey received a beautiful bouquet, delivered on time. The best way to do that is to communicate with your florist over the phone or face to face and establish a relationship with them. While electronic correspondence may feel more convenient, you will be able to make your expectations more clear in person.

Many times, a lack of information or incorrect data on the order form are to blame for a Valentine's Day delivery mishap.
