(NYSE: CQB) announced today its partnership with Nintendo of America to innovatively engage consumers and cross-promote both Chiquita® Bananas and the new Donkey Kong Country™ Returns video game exclusively for the Wii™ system. Now in grocery stores for a limited time, special secondary Donkey Kong™ promotion stickers draw consumer attention to the banana section by adorning millions of Chiquita® Bananas across North America.

As part of the integrated retail and digital marketing campaign, Chiquita is calling consumers to reveal their dance moves in the “Show Chiquita Your Donkey Kong™ Dance” contest. Consumers are invited to upload up to three photos of themselves doing their Donkey Kong dance for a chance to win one of 31 prizes, including a Wii system, the Donkey Kong Country Returns video game, or a grand prize trip to Cancun, Mexico to see the ruins of Chichen Itza. Consumers are also invited to help select contest finalists by voting for their favorite entry at Chiquita’s Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/Chiquita. The contest entry period closes on Feb. 28, 2011, after which voting for finalist will occur between March 1 and March 13, 2011. Winners will be announced by Chiquita on April 4, 2011.
