Sunflower Farmers Market To Celebrate Salt Lake City Opening

Salt Lake City, UT (01/24/11)– Sunflower Farmers Market, the popular full-service natural and organic grocer, will bring its “serious food at silly prices” to Salt Lake City on March 16, 2011 at 7:00 a.m. The new market, located at 656 East 200 South, will celebrate its grand opening with fun all-day festivities, including food samplings kids’ activities and more.

The new Salt Lake City store marks the third Sunflower location in Utah and the 33rd store overall for Sunflower Farmers Market. It also comes after an amazing year for the natural foods grocer: founder and CEO Mike Gilliland was named ColordadoBiz’s CEO of the Year and Sunflower Farmers Market earned recognition from Grocery Headquarters as the 2010 Natural/Organic Supermarket Retailer of the Year.

Salt Lake City’s grand opening festivities will open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:45 a.m. to kick off the celebratory mood.The grand opening festivities will continue throughout the day with terrific savings in every department, plus food samples and fun for the whole family, including:
