KROGER CEO Rodney McMullen has confirmed that there is a high level of interest in the 100 stores the company is putting up for sale after a merger with Albertsons.
The move comes as part of the $24.6billion acquisition deal with its former rival grocery chain.
Due to antitrust concerns, the Cincinnati-based retailer must sell over 100 stores upon the completion of the acquisition.
