VALDOSTA — Two Valdosta floral companies have been ranked in the top 2000 members of the Teleflora Network, a floral wire service company which brokers orders to local florists for delivery.
Central Flower Company and Zant’s Flower Shop were ranked in the top 10 percent of Teleflora’s 18,000 members in the U.S. and Canada and the additional 20,000 affiliated florists outside North America.
According to Teleflora’s web site, it is a service organization more so than a florist. Zant’s Flower Shop has been in business for more than 50 years but has been owned by the Sumner family since 1966. Doris Sumner is the current owner and her son, Bruce, is the manager.
