Wisconsin Farmer Milks Water Buffaloes

Plain — Most Wisconsin dairy farmers don't pray while milking their cows to be spared personal injury, or even death.

But most farmers also don't milk water buffalo – muscular Asian bovines with sharp, curved horns and mighty hoofs.

"Every morning, I'm singing to them, praying to God it will go OK," said water buffalo farmer Dubi Ayalon. "It's me, the buffalo and God. They trust me and no one else."

The slightly built farmer has the bruises to prove how fragile that trust can be.
