One longtime Hillsboro institution supported another recently, as Hobart Corporation donated equipment for the new White’s Bakery facility — establishing a connection between two businesses with over 100 combined years of service to the community.
Hobart donated a 60-quart mixer for the kitchen at White’s, while Hobart’s weight/wrap business unit also contributed a deli scale.
Four representatives from the Hobart Corporation — operations director Todd Barrett, mixer team lead Darma Cornett, mixer production supervisor Ron Hennison and accounting manager Amy Wise — visited White’s Bakery owner Sinamon Cluxton Monday at her new storefront at 157 West Main Street, which opened June 25. They were able to see the Hobart products in action, as Cluxton said the first few days in the new location has seen unprecedented demand.
