(FORT VALLEY, GEORGIA) – Georgia Fuzzies has been recognized by Graphic Design USA’s 58thanniversary American Package Design Awards from more than 2,200 entries worldwide in the category of package and point-of-purchase design for branding, packaging and general design excellence.
Hailed as “exceptional, with a solution that is creative, strategic and well-executed,” by Gordon Kaye, Editor of Graphic Design USA, Genuine Georgia’s creative and packaging design for Georgia Fuzzies was selected from a handful of other winners with a global reach. Other brands who were recognized this year include Amazon, Apple, BMW, Fresh Direct, Harris Teeter, Kellogg, LEGO, McDonald’s, Microsoft, Sam’s Club, Snapple, Tops Markets, Walmart, Wegmans, Xbox and more.

The American Package Design Awards competition is presented each year by Graphic Design USA, as the print and online news source for graphic design professionals. The program recognizes package and related design that is visually attractive, tells the story, advances the brand, and forges an emotional connection with consumers at the moment of truth.
Georgia Fuzzies are available mid-May this season. The Genuine Georgia Group is looking forward to strong volume to consistently supply its partners over the coveted 15-week availability period. Genuine Georgia expects to pack nearly 3 million boxes of peaches for its retail partners this season. Offering convenient Grab-and-Go 2-pound bags as well as fresh peaches packaged bulk by the pound (volume-filled or tray pack).
2021 Genuine Georgia partners can look forward to customized marketing support programs featuring everything from Digital ad programs, social media support campaigns, dietitian toolkit, recipe library, community hero giveaways, and online or in-store POS materials and signage.
