New Horizons Baking Co. of Norwalk has a new CEO: Trina J. Bediako.
Bediako has been with the company for 18 years, serving in roles including director of human resources, vice president of sales and president. As president, she led the company through “record-breaking growth and earnings,” a news release stated.
Bediako is the daughter of Tilmon (Tim) F. Brown, who has now transitioned to the role of chairman for New Horizons. Brown has spent more than 50 years in the baking industry, becoming president of New Horizons in 1995, with an ownership position. He completed the purchase of the company in 2014.
“Mrs. Bediako has earned the privilege of doing more,” Brown said in the release. “Under her leadership, the company has achieved historic sales results and efficiencies. I am very proud of her and excited to see how she leads our business into the future.”
