With the huge demands on grocery supply chains, Kroger is pushing ahead with plans for a huge new distribution center in southern Dallas.
Last summer, the grocer got approvals to build the shipping hub on 55 acres south of Interstate 20 at the northwest corner of Telephone and Bonnie View roads.
The Dallas City Council agreed to give the Cincinnati-based grocer $5.7 million for what would be one of its first automated warehouses in the country to fill online orders.
