African flower growing companies from Kenya and Rwanda among other nations are seeking to expand their global market reach by showcasing at the world’s biggest flower market place International Floriculture Trade Fair (IFTF).
The fair, which opened its exhibition doors on Wednesday in The Netherlands, is in its 10th edition with African countries featuring.
Kenya, for instance, is the world’s third-largest exporter of cut flowers, with its flower industry contributing around 1.06% to Kenya’s Gross Domestic Product-GDP.
