If residents in the Henshaw Street area have noticed a new aroma, it is likely coming from Freedom Bakery.
The specialty baking company recently moved its wholesale commissary to a 6,640-square-foot facility in a building managed by Cummings Properties.
Certified kosher, Freedom’s products are free of gluten, dairy, soy, peanuts and tree nuts. Freedom’s aim is to provide an allergy-friendly treat whose flavor, form and consistency mirror those of a regular baked good. This intention is echoed in the company’s tagline: “We are not just good for gluten free; we are good PERIOD.”
