(Omaha, Neb – As America’s Original Butcher, Omaha Steaks is focused on the rapid expansion of its Foodservice division. We aim to provide our world-famous steaks to restaurants nationwide, and to further this initiative, we will exhibit our Foodservice division at the National Restaurant Association Show for the first time in company history. The show will be held at McCormick Place in Chicago from Saturday, May 18 – Tuesday, May 21.
Fifth-generation, family owned Omaha Steaks is rooted in foodservice, beginning in 1917 as a small-scale butcher shop selling the finest quality steaks to restaurants and hotels in Omaha, Neb., then later expanding business to dining cars and troop transports on the railroad, and to restaurants around the country. Today, the Omaha Steaks Foodservice division offers a wide variety of USDA-approved grain-fed beef, pork, lamb and poultry, with many distribution and delivery options.
Omaha Steaks is excited to bring its 102-years of foodservice knowledge to the National Restaurant Association Show and boost distribution of its product nationally. Members of the Foodservice team will be on hand to discuss their product assortment, answer questions, and they will be showcasing some of the company’s most premium steaks cuts – Filet Mignon, New York Strips, Ribeyes, and Prime Rib – by providing samples to attendees at their booth, #9858.
