County Market’s parent company has identified Springfield as the home for its second farm-to-table concept grocery store, Harvest Market.
“We’ve spent the past two years tweaking the concept in Champaign and now we’re ready to bring it to Springfield,” Niemann Foods Inc. spokesman Gerry Kettler said Friday.
The Quincy-based, family-owned grocery chain confirmed the plans after Springfield Mayor Jim Langfelder broke the news during a radio interview on WMAY-AM on Thursday.
