Murray’s Cheese, the oldest cheese shop in New York City, has arrived in Houston.
Through a partnership with The Kroger Co., Murray’s opened its first shop in Texas recently at the Kroger location in River Oaks.
The second Murray’s shop will open this month at the Kroger store in West University, and another is slated to open in January at the recently revamped Kroger in The Heights on 11th Street.
Murray’s, which was founded in 1940 in the heart of Greenwich Village, is known for its "try it before you buy it" reputation
