SALINAS, Calif. – Dec. 1, 2010 – Mann Packing Company is partnering with Uncle Ben’s Rice to promote healthy meal solutions for New Year’s resolution dieters.
The promotion, designed to provide shoppers with quick, healthy meal solutions, includes a $1 offer off select Uncle Ben’s rice products with the purchase of one package of Mann’s Broccoli Wokly®, Broccoli Cauliflower, Gourmet Snow Peas and Sugar Snap® Peas. The coupon will be applied to Mann’s packages, and distributed to grocery stores nationwide.
“This promotion will hit stores at the beginning of January when the focus on healthy cooking is re-established post-holidays,” said Lorri Koster, vice president of marketing. “Uncle Ben’s has great brand recognition and it makes sense to partner with products that complement our vegetables and are a part of a healthy meal.”
