Santa Monica Reopens Renovated Retail Market, Cafe

RANCHO DOMINGUEZ, Calif., Nov. 12, 2010 — Santa Monica Seafood's revamped retail location at 154 E. 17th Street in Costa Mesa reopens to the public on November 15th. Customers will enjoy an upgraded seafood counter, an expanded full-service cafe with a Mediterranean-inspired menu and an extensive selection of wines and cheeses. The new cafe and oyster bar offers a large selection of fresh oysters on the half shell, Italian-style crudo, traditional cioppino and many other Italian-inspired dishes.

Michael Cigliano, one of the owners and Executive Vice President of Santa Monica Seafood, says, "We're all looking forward to welcoming our customers back to the Costa Mesa store. We know they are going to love the changes. Much like the revamped store in Santa Monica, we're offering the same blend of quality products and attention to detail that our customers have always appreciated, but we're adding a lot of wonderful new touches. Whether you want to drop in and pick up some fresh seafood to cook for dinner or meet friends for lunch at the oyster bar, you're going to be delighted with the new look and feel of the store."

Opened in 1997, the Costa Mesa location was Santa Monica Seafood's first stand-alone retail concept. A second retail market and cafe, located in Santa Monica, also recently underwent a complete renovation.
