How does a carnation from Colombia find its way from South America to Royer's Flowers in Lebanon?

Carnations are cut on Monday and packed in boxes, which are then driven to the airport in Bogota, he said. They leave Monday evening to fly to Miami, arriving early Tuesday. The importer receives the flowers from the airline, and they are pre-cooled as fast as possible.
