SAINT CLOUD, MN — Gold'n Plump Poultry announced the winners of its "Who Do You Know Who's Gold'n Good" Video Contest. This web-based contest invited individuals to upload a video nomination of a person, organization or community who they considered Gold'n good™ by always doing what's right, not what's easy.
In their video submissions, entrants painted uplifting portraits of local heroes and non-profit groups who strive to make a difference in the world through their commitment and passion. Entries were received from across the country with more than 60% of the videos recognizing individuals for their unique contributions and untiring efforts.
During the contest, which ran from June 1 through August 31, 2010, visitors to the Gold'n Plump website could view and award their favorite videos with a Gold'n Star. Formal judging of the videos was based equally on the following criteria: inspirational impact of nominee; message clarity and relevance; production quality and creativity. The $25,000 prize package was divided among the winning entrants, nominees and their charity of choice as follows:
