Portland Maine – 48LongStems, Inc., international provider of online flower delivery services, has increased its product line to include several species of bonsai trees, further increasing the company’s product listings beyond roses and flower bouquets.
The company has added six species of dwarf and miniature trees in small pots which serve to compliment their long stems roses and decorative flower bouquets. The plants have been cultivated for three to five years and measure approximately six to twelve inches in height. Three of the newly included species are suited for indoor environments, and the remaining three species thrive outside in temperate climates.
The inclusion of these new plants is indicative of the continued product expansion that 48LongStems has made a priority in recent years. Their fresh roses and flowers have recently been joined by a number of related floral and gift products. 48LongStems President Michael Geiger has noted that the continued growth of the internet flower delivery industry has given him the opportunity to include more products that interest flower shoppers.
“People like the fact that they can order without leaving their houses and the flowers will arrive the next day. When people send roses and flowers and see how easy the service is, they end up coming back and looking for other things they can send.”
Started in 2001, 48LongStems has grown from a small floral retailer in Florida to a full-service rose and flower provider for individuals and groups. In addition to the new line of decorative trees, 48LongStems has also recently expanded its product lines to include wholesale and bulk rose delivery as well as gourmet gift baskets and boxes.
48LongStems will continue to increase their flower and gift lines and expand their services to reach a greater audience on and off of the internet.
