Dairy Council of California Awards $30,000 in Grants to Boost Nutrition and Ag Literacy Statewide

Dairy Council of California is proud to announce the recipients of the 2024–2025 Let’s Eat Healthy Community Grants, totaling $30,000 in funding to advance dairy agricultural literacy, evidence-based nutrition education and equitable access to wholesome foods that include milk and dairy foods. This year’s winners, each awarded $10,000, include Hidden Valley Elementary School (Santa Rosa), Pasture Raised Kids (Fort Jones) and Arts in Action Community Charter Schools (East Los Angeles).

LPK1 Recalls Ready-to-Eat Chicken Caesar Wrap Products Due to Misbranding and Undeclared Allergen

LPK1, a Renton, Wash. establishment, is recalling approximately 303 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken Caesar wrap products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The product’s individually-wrapped Caesar dressing packet contains fish (anchovies), a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.
