Nature’s Path’s Annual Gardens for Good Campaign is Open for Applications!

Applications are now being accepted for Nature’s Path Organic Foods (Nature’s Path) annual Gardens for Good: Plant it Forward campaign. Gardens for Good celebrates the meaningful work of organic community gardens across the U.S. and Canada by giving away more than $100,000 a year, supporting 15 community gardens with $7,500 each. The initiative was founded on the belief that collectively, we can create a positive social impact and fight food insecurity by supporting the organic urban gardening initiatives that are on the front lines working to provide more accessibility to fresh organic food in the communities in which they are grown.

Pairwise and Bayer Expand CRISPR Leafy Greens Market Through Licensing Agreement

This licensing deal is part of Bayer’s new open innovation approach, launched to leverage opportunities for genome edited fruits and vegetables. The agreement allows Bayer to further develop and commercialize 10 varieties of Pairwise-edited greens, and to develop and breed for new varieties with the technology. 

Bobalu Berry Farms Awards 14 Scholarships Supporting 2024 High School Graduation Season

This year, Bobalu Berry Farms converted the application process to an online format allowing students easier access to complete applications and submit qualifying documentation. The company also expanded the incentive for employee children to apply by increasing communication at the farm offices and adapting the online enrollment form to include employee documentation. With over 40 applications, the staff scholarship committee had a difficult time selecting award recipients.
