Whirlpool Corporation Expands ‘Feel Good Fridge’ Program through Collaboration with HelloFresh and TQL

Launched by Whirlpool Corp. in 2021, the Feel Good Fridge program provides refurbished refrigerators to food pantries and nonprofit organizations across the county, like the North Texas Food Bank in Dallas, to deliver free, fresh food for anyone in need. Starting with a local initiative in the Dallas area late last year, the three companies are now expanding their combined resources and expertise to reach more people in need across the country. Together, they’ll impact 13 cities with Whirlpool Corp. providing 2000 refrigerators which TQL will transport and HelloFresh will help fill with wholesome and fresh ingredients.

To help support rising demand of online shopping, the eCommerce fulfillment centers stock goods found in stores, which are used to satisfy Curbside and Home Delivery orders. These facilities allow for more capacity, greater efficiency, less aisle congestion for the in-store shopper, and better product availability.

AgriLife Extension Team Wins 2 Awards for ‘Where’s the Beef?’ Project

The agency’s Where’s the Beef? team won the ERME 2024 Outstanding Project Award – Southern Region in addition to the Project of Excellence First Place Award from the University of Arkansas System for this project, which provided cattle producers with comprehensive, practical information on how to sell beef directly to the consumer.
