Iba 2023: A Trade Fair that Sets Standards

A firework display of interaction, inspiration and innovation: iba 2023 thrilled trade fair participants. 1,073 exhibitors from 46 countries showed their product diversity in 10 halls, which can only be seen, smelled and tested in this dimension and quality at iba. 57,000 visitors from 150 countries streamed through the aisles in five days to discover the latest trends from around the world.

And the winner is: South Korea. Yeon Sunheum and Han Doyoung who unreservedly deserved and won “The iba.UIBC.CUP of Confectioners”, which comes with a gold medal for confectionery and was held live at the trade fair. The participating confectioners’ challenge? Creating sweet artworks on world class level based on this year’s competition theme “The Animal World”.
