After the last Customer Day in 2021 had to take place solely online due to the Covid-19 pandemic, KRONEN GmbH is inviting customers and interested parties to experience the event in person again this autumn at its headquarters in Kehl am Rhein, Germany. Participants from all over the globe are expected to attend the in-house exhibition with a program of accompanying events, which will be held on September 28 and 29.

These scholarships represent over $1 million sponsored by the tree fruit industry through various fundraisers, scholarships in memory of industry leaders and friends, and annual donations. To be eligible for a WAEF scholarship, students must submit one of our two scholarship applications: Universal for students raised in families with direct ties to Washington’s tree fruit industry or students interested in a Washington tree fruit career pathway; and Vocational/Technical for Washington State high school seniors or current college students on a pathway that aligns with potential work in the tree fruit industry.

American Shrimp Processors Association Applauds International Trade Commission for Maintaining Antidumping Orders on Imported Shrimp

The United States International Trade Commission (ITC) voted today to maintain Antidumping Orders on unfairly traded imported shrimp from China, India, Thailand, and Vietnam. The vote was taken in connection with the Third Five Year Sunset Review on the shrimp antidumping orders. All five ITC Commissioners voted unanimously that the US shrimp industry would likely continue to suffer material injury if the antidumping orders were removed.
