Tyson Foods Donated More Than 18 million Pounds of Protein to Fight Hunger in 2022

Delivering on its commitment to address food insecurity, Tyson Foods announced it donated more than 18 million pounds of protein – the equivalent of approximately 72 million servings of protein – to food banks, pantries and hunger relief organizations in Tyson plant communities, and across the nation in fiscal 2022.

USDA Announces Appointments to the Cattlemen’s Beef Promotion and Research Board

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced the appointment of 40 members to serve on the Cattlemen’s Beef Promotion and Research Board. Thirty-nine members will serve three-year terms and one member will serve a one-year term. The term of board members appointed to three-year terms start February 2023 and end February 2026.

Tillamook County Creamery Association Introduces Newest Maker’s Reserve Aged Cheddars

Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA) proudly announces the release of Tillamook® Maker’s Reserve 2013 and 2020 vintages into the brand’s storied Maker’s Reserve program. Every year, TCCA introduces a 10-year (2013) and a three-year (2020) aged extra sharp white cheddar into its specialty line of Tillamook® Maker’s Reserve cheeses. These vintages join the 2012, 2017, 2018, and 2019 varieties in the Maker’s Reserve portfolio.

NFRA Awards Competition Encourages March Frozen Food Month 40th Year Celebrations

2023 marks the National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association (NFRA)’s 40th annual celebration of March Frozen Food Month! Murray Lender, founder of Lender’s Bagels, was instrumental in developing the first promotion in 1984 as an initiative to increase frozen food sales.
