A fire at the fish plant in Black Duck Cove has left the building completely destroyed, but the owners of the Gulf Shrimp plant are vowing to take care of their employees.

On Monday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (Federal Circuit) rejected the U.S. Government’s appeal of a preliminary injunction issued by the U.S. Court of International Trade (CIT) in July 2018 ordering the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) “to ban the importation of all fish and fish products from Mexican commercial fisheries that use gillnets within the vaquita’s range.”

Northeast Butchers Compete for Grand Prize Title

It isn’t every day one gets to watch butchers from the Northeast region charged with the task of breaking down a beef subprimal into salable cuts of beef to appeal to today’s beef consumers.
