The CEO of a company that plans to open a meat processing facility in Tyler County sent us a statement addressing environmental concerns and other issues raised by opponents. East Texas Packing Company says it plans to open a plant near Woodville. Opposition to the plant prevented the company from pursuing plans to open in Jefferson County and Hardin County.
