Meadow Brook Dairy milk was so popular in Erie that its president estimated in the early 1990s that Meadow Brook produced 70 percent of all milk sold in the area. That percentage will soon drop to zero after company officials informed employees Tuesday morning that the milk processing plant at 2365 Buffalo Road will close in late summer or early fall.
