Iowa Awards Tyson $2.4M In Tax Incentives For Plant Expansion

Iowa awarded Tyson Fresh Meats about $2.4 million Friday in tax incentives to help expand a Waterloo pork plant. The Tyson Foods Inc. subsidiary plans a $28.2 million expansion of its Waterloo facility, which currently employs nearly 2,900 people. The company has pledged to create 245 new jobs, according to state records.
