Great Lakes Cheese (GLC) has reached an agreement with the City of Wausau to build a new cheese packaging plant in the Wausau West Industrial Park. As part of the agreement the City of Wausau will contribute $5.9 million in tax incentives in the form of a 10 year reverse TIF to help offset the cost of building the new facility in Wausau. Great Lakes Cheese will donate to the City of Wausau the property where its current plant is located on DeVoe Street.
